This is ridiculous. I think dinner is a great way to get to know someone. You can tell a lot about the guy from the place he picks (is he trying to flaunt his money?, is he a foodie?, etc) and his table manners, just to mention a few. I’d be very impressed if a guy happened to take me to a place I’ve been DYING to go to, was very well-mannered, didn’t gross me out while eating, and was a good dinner companion. Does JA really know about dating as much as she thinks? I say no.
