The only French that anyone ever speaks in BU’s Maison Francaise is “ZUT ALORS!” shouted at any given moment, and it is quite irritating.My French book uses that expression, and my professor has us always say “Merde!” instead of “Zut alors!” because he says only lame people say zut alors. I wouldn’t know, but I’ll take any chance to cuss in French I can get.
